There are two versions, one as posted, the another is to the right with razor shell & sea weed. Personally I like the later, as it's more habitat/environment, but perhaps a little clutter compare to this which is almost IMHO, bordering on minimal. Would welcome your thoughts here.

Avian mods, am I allowed to post the second here to compare and aid the thought process, please advise.

The shallow DOF (even at f9!), feather detail, eye contact and raised foot all make this a super image, Steve.

Steve, stunning IQ here. perfect shooting and bird angle. If it fits your ethics, one suggestion is darkening the pupil a bit.
