This is a Marsh harrier male, they are one of the best hunters that I have come acoss, they are really smart birds too. I was happy when he turned as he passed.

Spec: 1/4000, F 5.6, ISO 800, -1/3.

Mk4+500mm+1.4TC, cropped from horizontal to show more bird.

Kiran, terrific shot. These birds are not so easy to nail. loved the dorsal view and customary sweet BG.

Very nice Kiran - especially well done with DOF. Seems like the whole bird is in focus. Did you handheld or used tripod?
