Hi Bhavya, Welcome to the forum!!

Good eye in seeing the grass silhouette along with the sun's placement on the left. I might have slightly repositioned the sun so it wasn't merging with grasses and was more to the left. It would have filled that area nicely. Secondly, this would of been a good time to use a graduated neutral density filter to have evened out the exposure between the sky and the reeds. The sky would of probably taken a more colorful and dramatic look other than being somewhat washed...

Hey Bhavya,
Nice to see you in this forum too! Dave made some excellent points and I agree with his assesment. Keep in mind to be careful that things do not get cut on the edges of the frame....so If possible, stepping back to keep the clipped grasses on the right would have strengthened the comp a bit overall.
Looking forward to more of your work!

Welcome Bhavya, nice image with lots of great suggestions. Look forward to seeing more landscapes of your home. I find underexposing slightly will bring out more colour in the sky (but watch that noise! )

Welcome Bhavya,

Good suggestions by David and Roman above, but I like Hilary's suggestion on underexposing, it does saturate the sky much better (just like with slide film) and since this is a silhouette, it does not matter if you have detail in the grass.

If you are shooting RAW, if the sky is not clipped, then getting saturation back into the sky and darkening it is only a matter of processing.
