This little cub is very shy and almost never comes out into the open, got lucky as there was a small open opportunity to photograph her in between all the grass which gave a great effect.

What a nice opportunity and you made the best of it! Love the eye contact and pose. Exposure looks good. This one still looks a little flat, not as much as cross paw post. If you add a curve adjustment (s-curve) will make a great image even better. It really makes it pop.

Adding contrast using a local contrast enhancement with PS USM amount 20, radius 60 and threshold 4 makes it POP especially the face.
