Hi Carlo, please do not forget to give us the information about the camera settings.....it is important to post this information with every shot you post. The exif data is intact in your file shot but we cannot expect everyone to look for the exif.

I love the clarity you have in this shot and it is sharp where it really needs to be but if there was a little more DOF, it would look even better. I am guessing that it was relatively dark because this was captured at f/10 and ISO 400 but the SS was only 1/30. Maybe increasing the ISO would have allowed you to go to f//16 to get that extra DOF.

Carlo, this is beautiful and the blues against the greens are lovely! I agree with Ken that a bit more DOF to include the wing tips and the area below the legs would have been helpful. Still, the clarity of the fly overall is remarkable and you did a very nice job!

Amazing image Carlo. Loved the sharpness, details and contrasts in the thorax and the head. Some very fine processing as well.

I'm sorry I often forgotten the data

I was already 1/30 with 400iso. I wanted to try a bit more DOF but the fly flew away

Never thought I'd see a "dreamy" housefly, but you have done that here!
Excellent settings for this little fellow, great color scheme as menttioned, and great details!
Little more DoF would be better, but this one is already a winner to me!

Hi Carlo. Thanks for adding the shooting specs. The image is striking with the blues/yellows/reds of the fly against the green background and you have good sharpness and detail within your DOF. As noted above, a little more DOF would make the image even stronger. Well done.

Hey Carlo,
DOF already covered.....but the details and colors you do have are excellent! Excellent work overall!

Lovely colours and very sharp.

I like the view from the top which is a bit different also.
