2011 is OFF to a good start for me; lots of opertunities so far to go out and shoot (much better than 2010 was I hope :( )

Nice pose with spread wings. Exposure looks good, gotta love the snow for underwing detail. Nice and sharp. Well done. I see you are pretty new to the forum, welcome.

Thanks Todd. Can you tell me why my picture doesn't appear as a thumbnail on the forum ?

Robert:

Striking landing pose, well exposed, sharp on the eye, falling snow, all good stuff.

I might consider toning down the brightest patches of snow in the background, esp. the areas in rhe right lower corner, to reduce competition with the bird.

The reason there is no thumbnail is because you are a forum participant, not a member, and have to link to your images, instead of posting directly on the site. There has been a glitch in the software that won't allow us to show thumbnails when linking to an image.

We are working on it.

Hope to see more of this fellow.

Cheers

Randy

Thanks to both of you. I see your point about the bright spot; I'll fix it.

Thanks again :w3

Hey Robert nice pose on this guy. I love the falling snow. If this is the Low bird, I got to visit this charming fellow recently...quite the performer too.

Hi Dan. Yes its that little "fellow from Low" ;)

There is one almost every year in that area. I'll go back before he leaves early March.
