Neat bird, one that I have only seen once (also from the Hooptie Deux but too far away). Exposure looks good, and I like the water's colour from the shallow level. If you have it I would add back a bit of canvas at bottom to prevent the lower ripple from skimming the edge like it presently does. You could also eliminate the pale patch just behind the bill tip. Very sharp as posted, and I like the water reflecting off the body.

Hey Joel,
Great advice given above! I too would add the room on the bottom (don't faint).....even though I like tight crops......so here comes the *......take it off the top proportionally! I would also remove the ripple behind the bill......iff you are OK with such things. Just some food for thought to make a strong image.....even stronger!
