WMC - Frost

Another close look at frost crystals on my sun room window. Some slight melting and refreezing has taken the sharp edges off the crystals. 5D M2, MP-E 65mm at 3-4X, f/10, ISO 100, tripod, mirror lock, cable release. I removed some small spots on the glass to clean up the image and increased the contrast to darken the background. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Hey Steve,
This is what I am working on myself......so thanks for the inspiration!!! As you know, I don't like leaving things to chance......so I am creating frost on demand! Will share this shortly.....if I can get out from behind the computer in the next few days!!! I am going to have to look into that lens!

I also thought it was fern leaves at first. Lovely macro, Steve. The superb definition of the crystals is so enthralling - it really drug me in to look at every nook and cranny.
