Found this tree, liked it's wind swept look, in the UK we have a prevailing westerly.

love the tonal range and the simplicity with the inherent story here Tim
knowing your work makes me assume the grain is intentional...am I right?

Absolutely, intentionally done to more mood.

I like the the cloud seems to be blowing right over the tree.
Looks like a print from a Tri-X B&W Negative; and I like that a lot.
Making the crop pano and wide in the direction of the wind accentuates the wind-swept look.
Picture perfect IMO. Well done.

Hi Tim, I also like the simplicity of the comp along with the pano crop. Just enough of a base with the angry clouds framing the upper area. I will say the addition of the grain is a subjective element and might appeal more to some than others...

Love this Tim, The mood is perfect. I am a big fan of the grain and love the way the clouds swoop over the tree. Very nice!

BEAUTIFUL all the way. Loved that curving ground, the clouds and most importantly, the tree itself.
Very well seen and photographed.

Hey Tim,
Grain is very subjective.....I happen to like it so am fine with it! I think the pano emphasis......really makes this one stand out. Great placement of the tree too! Very nicely done!
