Hi Carlo. These are not that easy to photograph and you did an excellent job here. I like the head-to-tail sharpness even though the dragonfly is at an angle to the camera. The blur in the wings gives a sense of motion. You might consider tweaking the background to blend in the dark area on the left side and perhaps darken the bright area above the dragonfly's tail. Well done.

Hi Carlo, you did a great job of capturing this flying dragonfly....I know from experience just how hard it is to do that! In addition to the suggestions that Steve has already made, you should try lightening the face of the dragonfly. Right now, the thorax is the brightest part of the dragonfly and that is drawing my attention away from the face.

Very well done! :5

Flight shots of insects are so tough and you've pulled off a fine image here.
Liked those folded legs and the mildly blur wings.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey Carlo,
As mentioned above....very difficult! The suggestions given above will only help take this up a notch.

Hi Carlo, great work! I still haven't managed on of these in flight shots. They're high on my wish list! Addressing the points regarding the head and BG already raised will take this over the top.
