Here's another image that I made this past Saturday evening out at Ft. Desoto. After you spend enough time down low with these little guys they accept you as a part of their environment and carry out their busy like you don't exist. I love every minute of it.

Shooting Solution
Camera: Nikon D200
Lens: Sigma 500 f/4.5
Manual exposure, 1/640 @ f/8, ISO 400
Manual focus, lens foot and chin in the sand ;)
Almost full frame, cropped because of rotation

Thanks for looking!

Comments welcomed and much appreciated :)

Another sweet one Blake. Love the low angle and soft back and foreground. Love that light with the sand adding fill naturally.

Hey Dave, when you come, watch the Alligators too, if you get near fresh water :) :)

Nice image Blake! The low angle makes it for me. You are lucky to live among them :)

Hey Blake,

Love the feeling on this one man.... I think the FG is too big in the frame but at the same time because that's the way the bird is looking to it works.
