To get the year started, I've posted a small contest on my blog.
I'm asking for identification of the bird in the image shown here.

Folks here should stand a better chance of getting this right since most of the people who follow my blog aren't birders.

I sent my guess.

Can I suggest that you include general geographic location? You should probably provide country at a bare minimum, though state / province (assuming North America) would be better. I've seen this point brought up in many advanced birding quizzes, and it seems to be the norm.
