Hey Allen, it's nice to see you posting here again!

The Frit looks fantastic....nice and sharp with good lighting and great colors. The flower....not as nice. The odd thing about that is some of the petals that seem to be in the same focal plane as the 'fly don't look very sharp. I think it would be worth it to try another round of sharpening on the flower and maybe give a shot at lightening up the underside. For a different look, you might try a bit of a CW rotation. A good capture and I'm betting a couple of tweaks on the flower can easily take this one up a notch or 2! :)

I can see what Ken is talking about but, honestly, who's looking at the flower when that beautiful butterfly is in the picture? I would certainly love to see both sharp but if the butterfly is this nice and the colors of the flower are this complimentary I'd be happy.

Lovely shot I suspect you may have sharpened the butterfly and not the flower head? Or maybe applied noise reduction on the background and not subsequently sharpened it? Any how I think the fritillary is superb.
