Thought I'd kick my posts in 2011 off with this Impala lamb I photographed in the Kruger Park in 2009.

The fragility and innocence of this young antelope reminds me of the "freshness" of starting a new year.

Cute and cuddly! That has got to be one of the cleanest animals I've ever seen, looks like its ready for the livestock show! Real nice texture in the fur. Together with the green grasses it does give off the feeling of a fresh, new start.
