Egret with a morning snack

This Great Egret was doing some fishing in the Little Estero Lagoon and came up with a nice meal. I was fortunate to be in a good place and had been taking some portraits of this bird when the fishing expedition was successful.

Welcome home Keith. Looks like Florida was productive for you. I like this photo, from the action captured to the way you controlled the whites to the nice BG. My only nit would be the dark brown circle between the fish and the egret's neck.

crop is a bit awkward with a bit wasted on right. IMO only

Thanks for your thoughts. The image I posted looks darker than I wanted. Here's a quick repost with a levels correction and a bit of work on the dark spot. Hopefully that helps.
