Taken a little earlier in the year before everything was covered in snow. I am going to find a better perch for my shots in the new year. I didn't realise how important a good perch was until I looked back through my photos and saw that every bird was on almost the same branch!!

All comments and critique welcome. I am very eager to learn.

Very nice shot and good sharpness and real clean composition. Good contrast with a very pleasant light green BG. Like his ruffled pose and I like the amount a room you gave him in the frame.

Good composition, and quite sharp as posted. I haven't seen a Nuthatch ruffle its neck feathers this way before. Only thing don't like here is the head angled away. Otherwise very nice.

I really like the pose here a lot. The ruffled feathers and the fine feather details are wonderful.
