Ruddy turnstone?

Taken yesterday in Los Angeles County, California. Thinking this is a ruddy turnstone, e.g., because of relatively large size, orange legs, bill shape, head. Not sure, though. Winter plumage is shown as much drabber in Sibley and Peterson. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Definitely a Ruddy Turnstone. Did you happen to get a picture where you can see the leg bands better? It would be neat if you could read them.
