Canon 1.4TC Mark 1 vs Mark 2

I have just ordered a 500mm f4 lens and I have a canon 1.4TC Mark 1, is there any point in my buying the Mark 2? I understand it is not likely to be better optically but the weather proofing is improved.

If you have a ver I, its not worth the upgrading but it is always good to have an extra 1.4x when you travel. So maybe a 1.4 X II is worth a look.

The 1.4X II also has improved internal flare baffling I am told.
