Congratulations Nick Palmieri for your image "Star Trails Over Park Avenue" being chosen as the Landscape Image of the week ending 12/10/2010!!!

So sleep is optional on a Roman trip, but I am too excited to sleep anyway! Made this image last night after shooting star points at Mesa Arch...Canon EOS 5D MKii, 17-40mm, tripod mounted with bubble level, ISO 100, f/4.0, 1 hour exposure held open with cable release while we snoozed in the car. Park Avenue was painted with a large flashlight by Roman, a much tougher task than one would think...It was then back to Mesa Arch for the sunrise glow...headed out again tonight for more stars. Stay tuned...

Thanks gang. Roman deserves much of the credit on this one. His knowledge of Arches is incredible and his enthusiasm and photography skills are over-the-top! If anyone gets a chance to go on one of his tours don't pass it up, you will be impressed.
