A rare bird in Massachusetts, mixed in with 1850 Canadas in a Boston field.

A very nice picture that would benefit from being a little bit larger.

Nicely done with all the basics right on. You might consider a crop from the bottom and eliminating the bit of white fluff in front of the bird. Composition is perfect.

Do the colors look a tad muddy to anyone else?

Good shot of a bird rare in your area. Just wondering, did you clone out any of the Canadas? The murky top left and top right corners of your image seem incongruent, especially when compared with the sharper area directly behind the goose. Also, there's a spot the same color as the top left corner toward the bottom left of the image.

I largely agree with the previous comments - e.g. more punch required - and like Craig I wonder if some objects in the background may have cloned out. Didn't notice it unless Craig pointed it out. JR
