I've been under the weather for a couple weeks (bad cold). I'm fine now. This image was one of the last I made before taking a "break." It is straight out-of-camera -- no crop, no adjustments.

Hope you're feeling better now, Wendell. Exposure looks good, nice action and I like the splash. I think it might need a little more sharpening in the eye/head/beak area?

Nicely done, Wendell. Good timing and well framed in the camera. I agree a bit of USM might help.

I like the included splash and the nice light. Are you shooting RAW or JPEG? If you're using the RAW format, sharpening all of your images is a must. This one would be a lot stronger with some sharpening of the bird.
