Met up with Doug Brown @ the Zoo on Monday. As mentioned, light condition was not really great.

It was my first time photographing wood ducks.

Not bad for your first time photographing Wood Ducks! I'd like to see this one a little larger; remember that you can post 1024 pixels wide. I might go a little brighter on the bird. Thanks again for lunch! Also, could you please post your EXIF data? Thanks!

I agree with Doug re the exposure but think that the pose and apparent sharpness is pretty darn good. A bit higher in the frame would be preferable though... JR

Nicely done, Troy! Great head angle and wing position, and looks sharp to me with good wing detail (would like to see it larger).

This is great Troy I love the incoming pose captured and that BG is sweet and of course its tack sharp well done getting this Duck.

beautiful pose Troy. Great details for ISO 2500.
