It's nice to see Yellowlegs......gives me a hope that spring is near. The bird has given you a very nice pose although the light certainly wasn't in your favor. I think it would have worked much better if you had a BG that was either all dark or all light......the split down the middle seems a bit distracting. Perhaps framing this one differently might have done just that and gotten the bird out of the center. A little flash would have perked this one up and given a catchlight.
