Here is another "almost human" pose which I hope will be enjoyed. I could have cropped the bottom part (thigh slightly OOF) but the overall view of this juvenile on his haunches was too good to leave out. Comments are welcome as always.

Title fits the pose well. Nice exposure and detail on gorilla. The bright green draws the eye a bit, a little de-sat on the green and yellow applied only to the greenery seems to help with this IMHO. Well done. You have made some nice images of these gorillas, must have been quite an experience!

Nice detail and I really like the contemplative pose.

I never cease to be amazed by how similar to us the Gorillas are.

I didn't feel the same way about the bonomo's or the chimpanzees (even if both are very intelligent) because when I look back at the two entire hours I spent with two different Mountain Gorilla families the sensation I perceive is almost as if I had visited somebody's home.

I realize that I am anthropomorphizing a bit but the pose above or the last one that I will upload soon make me think warmly about these marvelous beings. Their 97 to 98% DNA similarity is very obvious in some cases.

Deep in thought. I like the pose and detail. It must be quite an experience to witness these guys first hand.

Nice pose and good job of displaying the texture in the fur (hair?). Makes me want to dig my fingers in there and give him a good scratch!
