Hard to catch those in flight, especially so spectacularly! Was the bird just taking flight?

Killer sharp and a perfect exposure. Love the wings full down and spread pose. A slight reduction in contrast would likely improve it. As would losing the one angled dead stalk below the bird's near wing.

A very fine capture of a challenging bird to get a clean shot at. Artie hit all the high points.

You probably could have gotten away with a lower ISO, looking at your shooting settings, and a larger f/stop might have reduced the impact of the background slightly.

All in all, very well done.
