Hi Sid,

This shot has a different kind of look, I suppose due to the flash, a little brighter on the bird than I'm used to seeing. I like the bubble-gum color on this species and you've got a great comp with the diagonal effect but it doesn't look as natural as other Sid images that I love. Thanks.

Technically well executed Sid, but I have to agree that it looks a bit artificial. Interesting concept though, and worth exploring more. Maybe if you toned down the flash a bit?

I agree that the use of flash has resulted in a slightly "unnatural" feel to this, but nevertheless a fine capture, which I think could be slightly modified in PS.

Hey Sid looks like the MKIII can focus , I played around with this a little to lessen the flash look while it help it is still a little to much .

Technically, with Don's repost Ibis is exposed right. The unnatural feeling you are getting is from the background. It is a different image.
