nice comp Peter....the flatness is due to being in Adobe RGB colorspace.
Convert to sRGB for web presentation

Nice portrait of a beautiful animal, Peter. Based on how the image is currently presented, I'd like to see more contrast/saturation to make it pop. I gather from your post above, that the original version probably has this.

Peter, the repost is still flat and in AdobeRGB.....I answered above about Adobe RGB colorspace.
Do you feel I am wrong for some reason?

Added linear contrast in ps3, boosted clarity and vibrance and converted to sRGB as suggested earlier.
