Another one from my short session in my back garden, really neded a bit mor +EV.

Small bird long tail.

EOS 1D Mk IV

500mm F4 hand held

F7.1, ISO 800, 1/4000, EV +0.33

Not sure what you had to do in post, but +1/3 looks pretty good as presented. Like the eye contact, dangling feet and tail. Nice image!

You have these guys in your back garden - what a treat Ken. Exposure looks good to me too, and well done on getting him all in the frame. I like the dangling feet.

Ken, it must be great to have these beauties in your backyard. The exposure looks fine to me and I like the open wings.

Ah Ken you nailed it, good exposure and light angle with great eye contact. Agree getting the whole bird in is an achievement with these erratic flyers. Love the extended near wing. well done.

Excellent capture ,Ken ! Very difficult comp ,always, with these guys ,with long tail.Image sharp where it counts.
Would lighten up the eye area a bit . WD !

Thanks to everybody for your kind comments, I have been waiting for some time to try and get this at least I did not have to move far:)

The reason I said I needed a little more + EV, is that I had to open it up quite a lot and feel that I could have got more detail on the breast and around the eye, no such problem this morning it is raining:(
