Congratulations Jay Gould for your image "Mono Lake Sunrise-The Power of Solitude" being chosen as the Landscape image for the week ending 11/26/2010!!!
During a workshop with Jack Graham we went to Mono lake early in the morning for the sunrise - bloody cold!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, the color started to come up in the sky - yup, I have dragged it out further. I do like to create strong hot colors where the possibility exists.
I really enjoy crawling into this image and its solitude; I was glad the lake was relatively still.
