Second attempt to send this post. This roseate blessed us with a very close encounter. Wrong camera lens - having my Sigma 50-500 lens on, but luckily I was able to still get a close view.

Hi Helen,

You succeeded in uploading, but the image looks to small for us to properly evaluate.
Try and take advantage of our 750 pixels 145 kb limit!

From waht I can see, I would like a slight head turn your way and a lower angle.

Hi, back again. This should be the copy that you can review. Sorry about the inconvenience. I had to get my photographer buddy over here to guide me on resizing. Anyway, here it is.

Good detail on the bird and whites look good Would love to see this bird in softer light There is a high contrast between the bird and bg Not much you can do about it !!!!! btw you can go to 750 on size if you like

One of my favorite birds Helen and you did well to get so close. Would like to see this posted larger. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Helen,

I like the pose and composition. I also like the spoonie against the dark bg. The lighting isn't perect, but you did well with the exposure. I agree with the others about the size of the image.
