Hi Charles, nice find. These birds are so colorful. The exposure looks good on the bird but the background just looks too busy for me & competes with the Pheasant unnecessarily. I would also suggest a wider crop so the tail feathers don't touch the frame edge. Very good effort & better than anything I have.

Nice job capturing this image. I like the colors of the bird and you did a good job on exposure. My only nits is that the background is a little busy and I would like to see more room behind the tail.
