I know this is an iconic shot and not very original. However, I like the light we had 2 weeks ago during our CA trip.

1DMK4 with 17-40. Evaluative metering at ISO 100 with F 9 and 30 sec. Polarizer, 2 sec timer, mirror lock up on tripod. This is full frame. I used the polarizer to control the tone of the water and sky even though the light was low.

There is some loss of detail due to web compression.

Comments and advice most welcome.

Great shot, like the POV and composition. The reflection is interesting, so sharply defined.

Hi Ed, Good angle on the bridge with a well handled exposure. The reflection adds alot of interest to this pleasing image. I like the fact that you can see detail in the foreground rock. I was wondering about lightening it a small bit but feel it looks fine as is...

Always love seeing this bridge lite up and you did it well. I like the light reflection on the water.

Hey Ed,
Done this one myself a few times.....your color in the water turned out great! I think this works very well as presented.....very nicely done!
