Congratulations Andrew McLachlan for your image "Tiny Marsh" being selected as the Landscape Image of the week ending 10/1/2010!!!
1. Here is an image of Tiny Marsh near Elmvale, Ontario that was captured in early summer. Tiny Marsh is a huge wetland, despite it's name, that is designated an "Important Birding Area", always lots of black terns present.
Cloned out some minor flare from shooting directly into the sun. Viveza 2 was used to tweak original capture and adjusted the structure slider slightly with control point on clouds to add a smidge more detail.
D200
12-24 lens @ 22mm
f16 @ 0.4 sec.
ISO 100
Bubble Level in HS
Tripod and ballhead
Can't recall if I used a grad or not - I am thinking not fearing too much flare from direct sunlight.
Look forward to comments
