Monte,
I don't know anything about pan blurs but I'm having fun with the colors and actions your shots are portraying. While I wasn't so fond of the foreground on the last one, I like the foreground here, mostly because of the impressionistic appeal of the textures and colors coming together. I like the diagonal line of cranes on final as well. The whole frame seems to be listing down and to the right. You might have done this for effect but it's making me a little crazy!:) It's nice to see somebody getting "out of lens" and sharing those experiments with the rest of us. Thanks.

Monte, I like the concept of the image. I like the green, yellow, blue colour bands you got going here. Have you thought of going for a pano crop? I'm thinking cropping a good portion out from the top would work well...
