Thomas, this is really cool. I'm not a big fan of the square crop though. I'd be interested in seeing the original image with more room all around.

The square is due to the diagonal.
In the original image it's too much uninteresting space which just makes
it unbalanced.It is more of the bush to the right and just space to the left.

I like the implied or actual interaction.

I like the bit of oof on the bottom, just enough and not too much.

This is really interesting Thomas, I'm not a fan of square crops either but I think you've cropped it perfectly by the sounds of things.
