This is almost surreal Marc, great capture, perfect timing, great position. Having the shadow is the bonus element for me.

Marc,

You lucky person (polite), what a joy to see this let alone get a pin sharp image. An entry for endangered animals methinks!:cheers::cheers:

Marc - I agree with the others, this is simply a great capture. Btw I would call it "No Need to Fear, Underdog Is Here" after the flying cartoon dog.

Well done and TFS,
Rachel

Hi Marc
Well done with even getting the camera onto these fast-moving creatures. This is by far the strongest image of the 3 you have posted so far. Great action shot. I agree with others above about the shadow too.
I have just one tech question..what was the reason for you to be on iso200 with your D3s?
cheers

That's a good question, one I don't know myself,..... as for most of my 4 weeks in Kenya/Tanz it started at ISO400.

BTW. just received my Africa Geo B&B mag, with your Jungle Gym article.......amazing images of that Leopard 20M up that Jackalberry tree!!:cheers:

Hi Marc, glad you saw the article in Birds and Birding. Those pics werent too difficult to take, nothing was moving too fast..it was quite something to see though.
I am undecided as to which dog pic I like best out of number 2 and number 3, both are pretty powerful.
Looking forward to more from your trip..
cheers
Grant
