A photo from a top the Otter Rapids Dam on Ontario's Abitibi River. Thought I would share this one as it is as far north as one can drive in Ontario - very remote. The only way to travel further north from here is by canoe or by train to Moosonee. This was the main route for the fur traders of long, long ago.
This was shot in late August, of this year, and the autumn colors were peaking here. This one was shot at around 10 am, I would have preferred to arrived at this location a little earlier so on my next trip up here I will.
Please excuse the pun, but I did clone out a little bit of dam debris along the shoreline of the little island in the river.
Look forward to comments.
