I was setup for the smaller American Wigeon, they don't like to come as close, when I noticed this little lady reaching up and pulling buds off the overhanging Weeping Willow branches. I didn't have time to pull my 1.4 tc so I cut her tail a bit.
Canon 1DmkIIn, 500 4L IS, 700mm, ISO 1600, EV 0, 1/5000 @ f6.3, Tripod w/ Sidekick, Cropped some off top and left for comp. ISO 1600 was an accident, that is what happens when you don't confirm settings before shooting. :o
