This is another shy and reclusive animal, we spent a lot of time getting bitten by Tsetse in the woods of Ruaha, and saw very little of these in any open areas.

This was our only opportunity but the light was bad.:( Unfortunately no males were seen.

Taken in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania 5th September 2010.

Ken - nice pose, ear position and stare. Well captured. I think I'd prefer a little more room at the bottom if you have it.

Can't say I've seen one of these Ken, so well done on getting her attention.
Could do with a touch of sharpening on the head and neck area, plus a tad more room on the bottom as stated by Rachel.

Ken, nice alert pose and I like how it "pops" from the bg. I've seen Kudu before but not this one so tfs.

Good attentive pose Ken, and as we know, those large ears are very useful for picking up any hint of danger.

never seen one of these Ken - are they quite a bit smaller than normal Kudu? bigger than Nyala?

nice record shot - you would agree the light direction wasn't the best :)

Those stripes contrast well with the tall grass behind the animal. I like the juxtaposition.
