Merced river at Happy Isles in Yosemite. The water was in the shade and the sun had just illuminated the steep granite walls giving a nice color reflection on the water. Unfortunately I didn't have my tripod with me so I was bracing against a bridge railing or I might have tried for a longer exposure.

As mentioned great light on the rocks, I like the side/back light a lot in this image. The four dark rocks form a good focal point in the image, a tripod certainly would have been nice to get an even silkier look to the water, but I like it a lot at this shutter speed as well.

Great work Leroy. I agree with all the positives mentioned. Don't forget the tripod next time. Besides shutter speed, you could have use a smaller aperture for better DOF.
