It is not very often you get to see any colour of Duiker and far rarer to see one that stands vaguely still for more than a few seconds, all of this is of course an excuse for the quality of the image, but I thought it was still worth sharing.
Taken in Saadani Game Reserve, Tanzania, 10th September 2010

Well Ken, I havent seen one of these guys before, and not sure if they are around these parts of SA. I like the rich 'red' colour, and interesting curly tail.

Thanks for all of the comments, like most Duikers it has a "strange" appearance.

The 4th leg will have to remain a mystery, judging by the speed of the "escape" it must have had 4 legs

Just looked it up and it has another name, Natal Duiker, so it may have been down our way at some time:confused:
