After three hours at the feeder in Corkscrew I had many photos of the painted buntings. This is a vertical crop. The original full image is http://www.pbase.com/image/93878908 . I couldn't decide whether keeping the horizontal or cropping was better.

I like the vertical crop and the beautiful colors. There are some cloning artifacts below the right foot that need to be cleaned up.

I fail to see the difference between the two except for the fixed "ghost tail" therefore I will say I like the repost more ;-) Image cropped too tighly, but great look at the plumage!

Beautiful bird and pose. I still have to see this species. I find it a bit tight in the frame and would decrease the green saturation a few points and apply NR on the BG.
