I like this good side view to really show off the patterns and details of this handsome creature. Again bird a nice plus though not quite as prominent here.

I'm stuck between the two - eye contact in the first was better, distinct shape in this one is better :)
super light and love the space all around

Ken - well done. I like the head up pose with the dripping grass in the mouth. Nice comp and inclusion of the environment.

Thanks to everbody for your kind comments, like Morkel I prefer the first of this series with the more open mouth, even if the ear/horn is not clear.
I have a few more with mum and son, but could not quite get the right angle as the boat was stuck in mud.

Ken, comp works well, and I like the light and detail. We can see the scratch marks on the hide from the bush, and the oxpecker adds interest.
