This is one of Bobcats that are regular visitors to our backyard. I thought the pose with his body hidden in the shadows with only his face was interesting. i removed a couple of tall grass leafs and clones out some of the trees in the background that were reflecting light. Comments appreciated.

Dave:
I think this is a very effective shot, fits well with a cat, sense of mystery and lurking.
I might consider a crop down from the top, as the extra negative space doesn't add a lot for me. In fact, cropping down a bit might strengthen the sense of the cat crouching down low. I could also see a bit more canvas on the our right, if you have it.
Are you in rural area?
Cheers

Dave - I agree with Randy's comments. Well done. What was your light source?

must be great having animals like this visit your backyard :)
I like the POV and light/dark contrast here - would try to tone down the overall highlights a tad though

Well done Dave. As suggest I agree with cropping down from the top and lower the highlights in tonality.
Great idea well executed.
