Even in B&W the contrast still looks a little too harsh here Bill.

Bill,

The clouds are a bit hot but I feel the very white highlights in the cliffs need to be reduced in tonality.

Composition-wise I like the large brush in the FG left receding to the smaller one middle ground right. Both balance well with the BG. Puffy clouds always good to have for added drama.

Hi Bill, I also like the way you handled the comp although I might have given a small amount addl room to the base. Agree on the clouds being toned down a small bit but whats really bright in the image is the white area on the lower left I might fool around with a contrast adj on everything other than the clouds...

Thank you, I see the hills on the left dominate and need to be toned down. It is amazing to me the things I miss.

Hey Bill,
Great advice above. Sometimes over the top can work.....other times not so much. It is easier to be a bit less agressive at first.....jacking things up after is then easier! Always nice to have extra eyes on something too!
