Corn cricket (hetrodes pupus). These crickets are all over the place here at the moment. Most of the locals are really scared of them, which means some good laughing opportunities!:D. I started of with my macro lens, but actually like some images made with a 10-20 wide angle lens much better. With the minimum focussing distance of 24 cm on my Sigma this worked quite well, though I wish it were even less.

Great perspective here Vincent. I might like the insect to be a touch farther from the right side of the frame but I'd still be pleased to have created this one.

I wish there were a little more space to the right and bottom, but besides that, this is awesome! Very creative ;)

Great idea Vincent,

The only thing is that maybe the insect is too much near the right lower corner of the picture...

Good shot and thanks for sharing!

I like the composition and perspective. The wide angle works well here.

Very cool perspective and well done as always. The tight crop makes me feel like he's going to jump.......and you left enough room for him to do it. Like it as is!
