I like the simplicity of the image and the colors for sure. A noble effort Marc. Are they weavers' nests underneath?

Very cool, I like it as it is....
The balance of dark base/ground and the weight of the tree crown and dark sky is nicely done here

Beautiful composition, Marc. Dramatic bg indeed.. I like the hint of cool blue on top. The bird and the tree just stands out. TFS.

Marc:
Lovely image, great colors.
The only minus to my eyes is the blurry foreground edge, vs everything else being sharp.

Well seen and captured.

Great concept. Lovely comp and great colours. Some sharpening halos are visible around the bird and trunk...tough sharpening silhouettes, and many times none needed for web. Great stuff!

Wow, just when you think it's time to put the gear away . . .

The shot is pleasing enough visually, but your "seeing" this shot--your seeing it as something worth shooting--is what I like best.

Beautiful two tone colours in the BG, and you have used this opportunity very well Mark. I would either add a bit more grond at the bottom, or take it away completely. As is, I feel its a bit narrow.
