After a couple weeks of rains, I finally got out for a short time today, but found very little activity, on a cold and windy morning. This brown pelican dived a few times in my camera range, but as you see, with this exposure I did not get both wings completely in the frame. However, I have been too long without images to bring home, so I decided to post -- without crop and with sharpening, for I thought this image out of camera was not too bad "as is". Perhaps we could start a new category: "just missed"; "almost"; "darn it". or whatever.
