This is taken at a backyard set-up in Stoney Point. The BG is an OOF maple tree in autumn colours. All C&Cs are appreciated.

Jim, I love this set up. The sharpness, details and exposure are exquisite and that perch is superb (what is it?).
The bg is very nice too. Wonder if a 3x2 crop will work better.
Very well done. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice perch and BG indeed. Terrific details on the bird....and perfect choice of aperture.

Nice swooping perch, BG, and the little chickadee turned its head nicely for you. I'd remove the smaller pinhole catchlight on the eye. I just want to grab and pull the near wingtip to overlap it over the other one!:)

Thanks Sidharth. The perch is a dead corkscrew weeping willow branch that I pruned off a tree.

Thanks Daniel. I forgot to remove that small pinhole catchlight.

Fantastic details in this little bird, Jim. Love the perch and the bird's expression.

Nice perch, pose, and use of d-o-f. BKGR too. EXP and SH right on. Twist my arm and I might say that that it could use a bit more head turn (towards us). All in all well done.
