Revisiting an image from a workshop a few years back. I've got another that I'll post in the next few days if I can remember. Most folks don't care for reptiles, especially venomous reptiles, but there is something about them that I love. Maybe understanding them a little more helps out. This Southern Copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix) was more than cooperative, and we tried to make the most of our time with him. This image is full frame, shot just outside of minimum focusing distance (there was someone handling him). Thanks for looking.
